OK, this really isn't really a success story.  But it's the basis for all Dan's success stories.

Eyes:
to watch
and observe

Team:
Two heads are better than one; four heads are better than two

Brains: to be creative and invent new methods and tools

Video camera: to bring the "task" to a quiet conference room to brainstorm improvements

Point: Don't get too wrapped up with quantitative tools and scoring methods.  They all have value in the right place, but for solving problems in the workplace, you may already have the best tools.
