I was in the Philippines for work with the Emerson Electric Company, which has has two large manufacturing facilities there that make battery chargers for laptops, cell phones, etc.

When I asked the plant management for advice on how to get to Bataan and explained why I wanted to go there, they immediately offered a car and driver, and made arrangements for a tour and a stay at Edna Binkowski’s Seaside Inn.  Their instant reaction showed how important Bataan is to them and it brought tears to my eyes.

It would not have been possible to see everything and take all the photos and videos if it had not been for Emerson.  So kindly patronize their products, especially if you are a major manufacturer of consumer electronics and in the market for thousands of AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies.  Other Emerson divisions make Ridgid Tools and Closetmaid shelving products.

Here I’m taking a hands-on approach to evaluating a job and providing some feedback.
